Tony Bremness is a Partner, Managing Director, and co-portfolio manager at Laureola Advisors Inc. Mr. Bremness is a frequent speaker at Alternative Investment Conferences, with a focus on Life Settlements. He graduated with an MBA (1985 McGill University, Canada) and has been awarded the CFA accreditation (1991).
Mr. Bremness has over 30 years of asset management experience, with portfolios ranging in size from $100,000 to over $10 billion. He helped design, structure, and launch several investment Funds, and has consulted to some of the world’s largest institutional investors on Asset Allocation and manager selection.
Christopher Erwin is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Laureola Advisors (Laureola). In addition to his role at Laureola, Mr. Erwin is an active member of the California State Bar, a long standing member of the Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA), and holds memberships in the Orange County Bar Associations and American Bar Association.
In addition, Mr. Erwin is the CEO of ALIR Settlements a leading nationwide life settlement provider. He began his career practicing at Arthur Andersen, a global professional services firm. Mr. Erwin graduated from Chapman University in 1996 with a BA in Political Science and received his Juris Doctor degree from Chapman University School of Law in 1999.
